Opera GX looks neat (and I used it for a while), but it's still Chromium-based. Firefox is the browser to rule them all.

Been using it for years, regardless of update.  It's a browser.  What's the issue?

I just have always thought that chrome was Beter but that has now changed.

google chrome for a long time has been the top search engine and the best because it had the best features but now opera in my opinion has the best features.

way long ago i used to be an opera user, they then sort of became poop.. and now they seem to be on the path of "stuff it with all the buzzwords" train.

 

i've never seen any software advertised with "future proof" as one of the key selling points. what the flip even is a "future proof" webbrowser, and how are other browsers not future proof? it's software.. if it's dated, you update?

 

if i'd have to point out an "alternative browser", i prefer to point towards vivaldi.

Features on chrome like the password manager being treated like its own app 

The reason I like opera is the New A.I and being able to connect your messenger and Instagram accounts up to it so you can respond to messages.
