Hi everyone, Hi, I am going to build a machine with X99 DDR4 Motherboard Slot LGA2011-3 with E5 2630 V3 Processor  motherboard. which ram should i buy for these combo ? and the product description is written here as : Memory socket: 4* DDR4 Max memory capacity: 4* 16G DDR4 2133/2400MHz/2666MHz Memory type supported.

Look at the pricings, and compare. Faster ram would benefit. So if you can find 2666 for the same price as the others, or even a little bit more, its worth it.

What did you go with?  I just installed a E5-2699A V4 in my X99.

 

I was looking at DDR4-2400 ECC 8Gb sticks.  (8) -> total of 64Gb
