Hello,

Perhaps noticed from my previous build, i have been struggling with my new PC build. I got most hardware brand new, while the PSU and SSD are only about a year old. However, i'm unable to get it to work and my troubleshooting has led me to thinking it's the MOBA's hardware being faulty. I got a friend who is a IT repairman to take a look, who gave me the conclusion it's probably the moba or CPU. However, this is my first PC build, so i'm not all to experienced to make such a conclusion easily. Hopefully someone might have some thoughts? Would it be reasonable to replace my MOBA?

The problem
Simply put, i'm unable to install either Windows 10 or 11. Whenever i attempt to do so, i get a BSOD along the lines of 'Critical Process died.' At first the install didn't finish, getting the error 'Unable to install files. Troubleshooting got me to the aforementioned BSOD. It didn't want to install at first, but now it just immediately after crashes after install.

What i've tried
- Updated BIOS

- Use fresh install media on other USB's

- install Windows on a different SSD (SATA instead of M.2)
- Switch out RAM to single stick and trying out each slot. Also did the same with a different set.
- CPU temp is stable

What i've noticed and still not entirely sure about:

Got the 'USB over current status', making me wonder if it might be my PSU. Don't have a replacement to try it out. PSU is barely a year old out of the box.
VGA light is ocassionally showing during booting, while showing me no screen (monitor is plugged in GPU). Restarting usually fixes it and brings me to bios, but it feels unstable. Probably due being unable to install drivers, but perhaps another signal to MOBA problems.
