Budget (including currency): 1500 CAD

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming at 1440p

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello, I built a PC over 6 years ago and I haven't kept in loop with current market, any help will be greatly appreciated. I already have peripherals but will have to upgrade to a 1440p monitor in near future. I'm willing to go over budget slightly if its a sizable performance increase and/or good future proof. But in the end, I'm looking for a PC that I can get the most bang for the buck. Thanks.

Youll feel a bit of choke on CPU bounded titles, but this would be the best thing you can do. Throw in a 5800X3D and an aftermarket twin tower cooler if you got the burst of cheddar, and this would be a banging 1440p144 PC.
