Budget (including currency): ~1300 USD

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Highest demanding game currently is RDR2, but I want to be able to run Starfield as well.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I want to be able to run around 100 fps on 1440p.
Here is what I am thinking: https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=c7ba5df4-1aad-4c1b-a036-24c66197e941

I was wondering if I need a rear fan? I plan on putting two fans on top, using the two stock fans in front, and using the stock cooler included with the cpu.

You need DDR5 for that cpu.  Do you have a gaming monitor and if so what is the resolution?

I don't have a monitor yet, but I was planning on a 1440p if possible. Though, my listed budget is only for the pc and I am keeping peripherals separate.
