I would like to know how their licensing works offline/after their activation server shuts down. Otherwise "perpetual license" seems kinda sus for a software I may be paying for.

Expectation: offline installer + offline validation of provided license key.

Doesn't work on my platform of choice nor my platform at work and doesn't seem to offer a web option. The AI option seems more like a gimmick than anything useful in the scope of a pdf (really if your doing math calculations in a pdf editor your clearly doing it wrong).

In fact the idea of "pdf editors" seems flawed to me as the pdf spec is supposed to make them non-editable and able to be imported into a word processor to be reformatted.

I'm not impressed.

Visually, the application is nice, but the windows version annoyed me by not giving me an option as to installation location, it defaulted to program files (x86) but only installed 400 MB there, and most of it was installed  in appdata\local  and after installing the OCR plugin there was 2 GB of stuff there.

The OCR "plugin" is FREngine from Abby, maybe they licensed it, I don't know ... Abby Finereader is quite good, but the OCR the app performed did not impress me at all, it was slow and had quite a few errors.

Some other issues ...  pricing ... yearly subscription 30 bucks a years or lifetime 50 bucks  ... but lifetime includes only 1 year of cloud, no word of how much it would cost to renew for another year on the page.

Also the "AI" doesn't seem to be included in either plan, it's just a one month free, maybe that AI is a few bucks a month.

Very few configuration options, ex no option for OCR (I mean right before you get to start the ocr conversion you get to choose language and some basic stuff but no training, no dictionary, no asking to confirm if some word is correct or not, nothing.

The configuration option clips some options and doesn't show scroll bar in windows, but using scroll wheel gets those options visible, seems the settings window is at some fixed small size like 640x480

I'd pass on advertising this one, maybe if it matures a bit at some point in the future.

edit : oh, and just tried to uninstall it ... left around 40 MB in program files (x86)  - probably the stuff the original web installer unpacked before launching the installer that downloads everything from web,   and also left all that downloaded stuff  in appdata\local

bad installer, down boy.

edit2  : and maybe you should ask them why do they need to run google analytics during installation?  see the log file attached... has no personal information in it.
