With a dremel, a hammer, and a bit of elbow grease anything will fit into anything.

Usually cases will have some wiggle room in the, so I'd expect that it will still fit just barely. Just be prepared to bang a little bit of metal out of the way in case it doesn’t go as well.

Good Evening All!

I had originally bought this spec list back in 2018 (See attached image) and have been saving for upgrades piecemeal here and there.

My issue lies in the tolerance compatability error I have encountered on PC Part Picker that I am wondering how much of an impact it will have. Of the list here ( https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/TnPxFs ) I have carried over my old PSU (Admittedly a *bit* overkill when I originally bought it), OS and Case.

I have since purchased the CPU, RAM, SSD and GPU in sales from Prime Day and others, but I encounter the 2mm tolerance compatability issue and wonder how much of an impact it will have on my build. If anyone is familiar with the case or if not, please see picture attached, there is a stack for HDD storage that possibly could be removed at the front as I don't plan on using any. Is this the length incompability related to this or something I am missing or is the website accounting for something towards the rear fan area? My concern is that I bought the case because quite frankly it's massive, and any future upgrades I thought I could easily to slot into it.

Any advice on Motherboards and CPU heatsinks would be greatly appreciated as I am yet to purchase those, and on if a totally new case is going to be required.

Budget for remaining parts is around £600. UK Located.

Monitors are going to be upgraded from 27" 1440p to 4K in future but not an immediate concern.

No peripherals required.

Upgrading because I want to run things smoother, with more clarity and didn't go overkill on GPU or CPU because who needs an extra 12FPS for another £1000 on top.

Because I am a clumsy orangutan, I will plan on getting someone else to fit it all in for me, but any tips for computer building in general would be very welcome!

Many Thanks in advance!

It's unclear if the Corsair listed max GPU length is with the drive cages removed. If not you are golden, just remove the upper cage. Otherwise you may have to contemplate replacing a fan with a thin profile model (i.e. half thickness, 12.5mm).

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

I suspect those cages are removable and looking at the standoffs if so the gpu length won't be an issue.
