extreme paraphrasing here because i cant be arsed to go look up the wan show archives with the exact details,  but it comes down to this:

- amazon SUUUUCKS for retailers, amazon determines how much you can stock (or rather, an algorithm determines), the margins are slimmer, you essentially have no control over the warranty/rma process, etc. so they only really want to put items on amazon that have a mainstream appeal, because for those items it could mean a much larger amount of sales (meaning lower costs per unit on the supplier side)

- whichever the method is, the waterbottle still needs to go from LTTstore HQ to your doorstep, and any process that puts the stock closer to your door (for example, having stock in the EU) costs at least equally more on the backend, so prices remain comparable or would possibly get higher.

I think in today's day and age, it may  be a tough thing to do but maybe look into WHY you want an LTT water bottle?  Rather than wanting them to provide an easier and cheaper way to get one, I think it is valuable to look into the desire for a branded item from some celebrity.

Do you really need a water bottle that has LTT screen printed on it from the other side of the world?

Especially given Linus' supposed stance on waste.  Shipping a bottle around the world seems like a waste to me.

Shipping isn't nearly THAT bad to where I live in the USA but it's not great. I want to support LTT anyways, so I usually just put stuff in my cart over time until I have a respectable subtotal and paying that shipping on 5-6 items doesn't feel nearly as bad as paying shipping for a 1 item order.

I think you do make a good point but i live in the UK too and it need to be cheaper but I have had a look but there is no cheaper courier which operates fromc anada if it was from the Uk to canad there are some cheaper options. YOu are certainly correct we could just be another company water bottle.
