So I got a new receiver today and have my tv and what not hooked up to it. What I want to know is, can I have audio play through my computer on hdmi (through the receiver) and still have video on dvi? If so how?

what reciver are you using

Just go into your sound manager and change it to the hdmi while still using the dvi as the video output. Right click the speaker icon next to your time and then click playback devices and then find the hdmi and set it as default audio output, job done i should think.

It's not working. The hdmi shows up and I have it defaulted to that, but no audio.
