Hey everyone,

Recently completed my surround setup, just a few things that I haven't quite figured out / may be stupid questions.

Unfortunately not all games provide a good experience at full resolution,

such as League of Legends, personally I don't like the camera control (you have to go ALL the way to the edge to scroll) and the way the HUD is spread out (mini map ends up over my right shoulder) Here's a screenshot.

So it makes sense to play at 1920x1080. I would prefer if I could see both my other monitors while playing. If you play in full screen it simply turns off the other two monitors, and if you play in boarderless the task bar appears over the game, as seen here.

Does anyone know if there's a way to force the game to appear over the taskbar?

Of course I could just disable surround, but I can assure you it's fairly infuriating switching between spanned and regular multiple displays.

Will also mention that auto-hide for the taskbar does not seem to work in surround. Any other helpful hints or advice for nvidia surround is more than welcome.

Partial solution for anyone who runs into this problem in the future:

By pressing the windows key + P you can choose extend,

This is a multi-monitor setup similar to non-surround configuration. I believe it only utilises monitors connected to one graphics card (so as my setup involves SLI, I was able to use 2/3 of my monitors using this.) either way I could play in 1920x1080 with use of another monitor.

Using windows key + P again, this time selecting Projector, switches back to the spanned display mode with all your previous settings intact.

Here's also a helpful guide for using surround in windows 8 that some may find useful.
