Greetings people!

I'll have to give some backstory, but i'll try to keep it short. Bought a used Gigabyte 3080 EAGLE OC at the beginning of the year and noticed significantly less performance than what was reported on the net (yes i did full blown testing of the card at the seller's place before buying it, everything was fine, it even performed slightly above average). Only thing that stood out was the wrong BIOS being flashed on the card, that of a VISION OC version F1. I contacted Gigabyte and the original retailer, arranged RMA and waited 2 months only to be getting it back with no improvements whatsoever. Only change was that they updated the already wrong BIOS to F3. A clean reinstall of Windows seemed to fix the problem though so i didnt bother any further.

Recently i noticed, that my GPU drivers were crashing when heavy gaming, and even Windows sometimes bluescreened me. Not that often but often enough to be concerning. Did a whole lot of testing, found out that the Vision is rated for 370W and the EAGLE OC, according to GBT themselves, is rated for ~320W. No Overclocks in any way. Also ran super hot and thermal throttled frequently. But limited the power and who owuld've thought, everything works fine, even better than before.

But, just for ease of mind, i'd actually like the correct bios with the correct version on the card. I don't want the power limit to reset some day (which it actually does after every driver update) and blowing some capacitor, or any other damage that could happen with prolonged exposure to more wattage than the card can handle. Gigabyte isnt of any help here, as they just told me to RMA it again and that its not possible to flash the correct bios (even though they did just that, although the wrong one...). Not gonna do that again, so, here i am, asking for your help. If anyone has experience with flashing the vbios, especially with gigabyte cards, i'd appreciate their help. I know the risks, so please spare me that lecture.
