Hello guys, I'm currently looking for a huge upgrade to my build, here are the details

Budget (including currency): <2000€

Country: Italy

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Will be used primarily for gaming with MMORPGs (Such as BDO), FPS and MOBAs but also for streaming and coding

Other details:

I'm currently running a i7-9700k with a GTX 1070 but I saw that the GPU started struggling after I was forced to upgrade my monitor (I bought a 3440x1440 144hz) and in my new build I plan to add a new smaller one.

Initially, I thought that upgrading only the GPU could do the job but I was afraid of CPU bottlenecks. I was looking for something like a 7800X3D cooled by a Noctua NH-D15 and a 7900XT/4070Ti (given the fact that they are at the same price) but I'm open to suggestions. You can leave the case out because I will be using the one that I have (it's a full tower) and maybe the PSU (I don't know if it will be enough but i have a Corsair HX750i)

Solo una domanda. Qual è la lunghezza della GPU supportata in questo caso? o semplicemente dire qual è il caso?

l'alimentatore dovrebbe essere sufficiente (dato che la serie 40 è abbastanza efficiente) quindi andrei per questa build

The case is a Corsair Obsidian 500D so I don't think the space is a problem there. Anyway, why did you go for the 4080? Does it give that much value over the 4070Ti/7900XT?

Anyway, here's the list of the parts that I was saving on my amazon, is there anything wrong with them?

on second thought, you should go with the build at the bottom of this post as if you aren't using ray tracing the 7900 xtx gives a much better advantage

that memory isn't that good for am5 so I'd go with this ram G.Skill Ripjaws S5 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5600 CL28 Memory (F5-5600J2834F16GX2-RS5K) - PCPartPicker

yes, the 4070 ti is pretty bad for the price

I'd go for this build with a 7900 xtx

Because you can at that budget and really the 4070Ti barely better than 7900XT which would be more relevant than the 4070Ti if the VRAM creep continues to go beyond 12GB.

Also get back to the gaming plus. Its going to be fine.

In terms of the PSU it should be fine, the oldest it could be is 2014 which is still within the reasonable old PSU age range.

depends if they 'want' gen 5 or not (they shouldn't but its op's decision)

Then again even an a620m HDV would be 'fine'

I picked this because I saw that on Linus's video about the 7800X3D but again, if there are things that costs less and gives the (almost) same values they are sure welcome.. About Gen5 I don't really know: will be worth or not?
