My startup programs keep getting RESET!

I noticed this issue about 3 months back. Sometimes when I restart or shutdown my laptop, Most of my startup apps don't load up after booting, and when I check taskbar, they aren't even on the list either, the startup folder is empty as well. And in the apps, the option to startup with Windows is also unchecked or unticked. 

 

Not sure what exactly is the issue, a registry bug or a virus? 

 

Need Help. It's g etting pretty frustrating
