2015 to 2023 Build

looking good ig

i mean you´re not making a lot of cutbacks for your setup but just for security and bc a psu failure can, in the worst case fry all other of your quite expensive components, i would recommend going platinum by spending a little bit more on the psu

am hungry

Going from my 2015 build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/razmy/saved/PHKD4D

To a white themed 2023 build (transferring storage): https://pcpartpicker.com/user/razmy/saved/yy3jGX

Thoughts?

You don't want to run DDR5 on a Z690 board due to the inferior DDR5 memory support those boards give vs the Z790 and B760 boards. That case requires a 3-pack of 120mm fans if you don't want it to become a hotbox so add that cost into your build. Is this build for gaming?

This case isn't as 'niche' but also it's not a hose job like the Hyte 60.  This build will run circles around that 12700K not to mention it gives you a excellent 2TB SSD along with a real up to date gaming monitor.

For whatever reason this cooler isn't showing up on PC Partpicker but add it to the build.

DeepCool AG620 WH ARGB Dual-Tower CPU Cooler $54.99

Low profile RAM so it doesn't impede that dual tower cpu cooler. btw you can't see the psu once its inside this case.

i like

eespecially the downsizre to 32gb ram, i was thinking about that a bit too. but in the end ig if Ttaco feels he needs 64 gigs

would still advise to spent that lottle bit extra on psu, also bc the standard hasnt changed much and even with new mobo connectors making an apperance over the last years there will alway be adapters and investing a bit more into the psu can still have a long-time value.

but also weird coming from me with a used rm650i  😄

am hungry
