Budget (including currency): 1 000€ (1200 € if I like it)

Country: France

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  FPS (Siege, Halo...) but also open worlds (Cyberpunk 2077, Outer Worlds...) and Sandboxes (Besiege, Teardown...)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Hello all,

Here is my current build :

1 × Hunter RGB
1 × AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 6x 3.40GHz (Turbo: 3.90 GHz)
1 × AMD standard cooler
1 × MSI A320M Pro, S. AM4
1 × Nvidia GeForce GTX1660 6GB
1 × 16GB DDR4 2400 MHz RAM => changed to a 2 x 16GB from crucial (same specs)
1 × 240GB Solid State Drive SSD
1 × 1TB Toshiba SATA III HDD
1 × 600 Watt Xilence Performance
1 × Windows 10 Home
1 × WLAN Highspeed adapter card => Playing with CPL so don't need another one
1 × Packaging (550x540x310)

It was a built PC that I bought off of Megaport back in July-August 2020 and it's feeling somewhat old when I play these next gens games and I'd like a better PC to maybe run games on a "2K" monitor (2560x1440) but also watch some movies with Netflix, Prime and else with a 4K monitor. Today I have the ViewSonic VX2458-C-mhd a great monitor but I feel like I could have better for a good gaming and viewing experience. I've made some diging and found these monitors : For gaming : LG 27GN800P-B and for viewing films and else : ASUS TUF Gaming VG289Q1A tell me if anything's wrong with it.

To be clear : my budget is for all the parts I can change except the case, the RAM and my SSD & HDD since it's still useful, maybe a second HDD/SSD depending on what's left of my budget.

Thank you for reading this question I might not know a lot but I'm eager to learn more about PCs, and also thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Id just transfer the windows (and then update to Windows 11 for free when you turn on Secure Boot and TPM) and HDD, and then sell the rest to start from scratch. While Zen+ doesn't fetch as much value as the Zen 2 counterpart it still has some.

You can compress to 6700XT but 16GB is pretty much the minimum for 1440p and the performance difference is pretty noticeable.

Thank you very much for the in-depth description, and sorry for the late response, however I just need a new Mother Board, GPU and CPU (also power supply and cooling fans) and that's it.

Also I've been to a local hardawre store and I've looked at a higher budget (on 1300-1400 € depending on the price)

- MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAW WIFI DDR4

- I5 - 13600KF (3.5 GHz/5.1GHz)

- PNY RTX 4070 12GB DUAL FAN

Fort the fan and power supply :

- Fox Spirit Cold Snap XT120

- MSI MPG A850G PCIE5

What do you think of that? Is it good enough? Can I get cheaper versions of the components I want? Or at least for what I'm looking for?

Thanks again for the response but that doesn't answer my question + why would you get me a whole new PC, I just need GPU, CPU and Mobo that's it...

I already have : the case, the RAM, SSD & HDD.

That ram's pretty slow even for am4, but if your storage and case suits you then I'd go for this
