If you're only going to use that new 1 TB SSD as additional storage, yes. All you have to do is create a new volume in the blank space.

 

If you want to use it to replace your 500 gig SSD as your boot drive, you'll need to use a drive cloning utility to copy everything over and make your C: partition bigger. "Name brand" SSDs usually come with a tool that can do the job, and Acronis is always an option.

So i should just continue pressing next on the New Simple Volume Wizard?

If all you want is an empty 1 TB partition to store files on, yes. That won't touch your boot drive.
