So uh, in a weird manipulation in the universe, I found what seems to be a fully blown gaming pc in my condo's trash area.
I haven't had the time to boot it up, but the inside doesnt smell burnt or anything. Any suggestions what I should do with it?

disassemble it and test the parts separately, there should be something broken ...

I wouldn't suggest plugging it in immediately, double check the PSU and clean it. If you have an extra on hand, try with a different PSU.

well actually you should check if it has a drive in it and figure out if it's stolen. pretty much always step one when you find something of value that was abandon

This. You also should probably dispose of the hard drives if it has any.

It seems unlikely to be stolen, I don't think a thief would leave a rather good looking pc in its box in a trash area that gets a lot of traffic, in open sight with no physical damage done to it.

So far the only memory I saw in the pc was a 1tb m2 ssd, and I think that's it.

I'd like to attach an image of the case but, can't upload a picture for some reason, so I'll just describe the hardware it has:

From what my friends told me it seems like it's a MSI Z170A PC MATE motherboard, and the brackets on the liquid cooler suggests it's an Intel CPU. And another thing is that the cooler might be a knock-off or a very unknown one, friend says it might be an ROG one, but doubtful since it's 120mm, and apparently they don't have one for sale.

It has 2 G.skill Ripjaws V, DDR4 probably, 8 GB each, and a 1tb Sabrent M2 SSD.

Not sure about the GPU, but considering it has RTX on the side, it's a series 20 or more, and the PSU is a RM1000. Case of the pc is a Corsair iCUE 220T. I'll update you guys when I have the time to look into it more.
