Just to clarify: You think the Seasonic Prime TX-750 750W is good?

Oh absolutely!聽 Its an A: Tier PSU with 12 year warranty.聽 Its quite expensive but if you want absolute reliability then that is a very good unit indeed.

Hi,

Haven't ever really gotten into PSU's, but I am currently looking to buy.

Have been looking at some Seasonics at 80+ Titanium ca 750 watt+. Want to be able to upgrade my current CPU, Motherboard and ram at some point, and I am planning on buying the 16gb Arc 770 at the same time as the PSU.

Might also upgrade the GPU when Celestial comes around.

Current setup https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WkcLW4

Bonus if anybody has LTT discount code or something, but might just go hunting myself.

Want to use this PSU for an absolute minimum 10 years, so some feedback if 750 watts are ok for that timeframe.

Thanks 馃檪

/Albin

wattage won't be an issue in regards to timeframe, but quality of the PSU itself.聽聽聽 The Seasonic one you listed is an excellent PSU and comes with a 12 year warranty 馃檪
750w - 850w is alright for most modern builds. I run a 7700x - 32GB DDR5 and a RTX 4080 on my RM750i聽 ( 750w PSU ).

12 year warranty or not, the Seasonic Prime Titanium is not the best and way overpriced. Tikking fan, histiric analog fancontrol, thin PCI-e cables and standard minifit connectors instead of heatrisistant HCS connectors. For a lower price you buy a top tier ATX 3.0 unit like the Silverstone Hela, NZXT C1200 or Super Flower Leadex VII which are better than any SS.

The 12-year warranty is more important to me. I have many old and noisy hard drives, so a ticking fan is no issue, I am going for nothing over mid-tier when it comes to power draw so the HCS connector and thin cables are a non issue. The prices as far as I understand is for the warranty, so that will be what I will be going for unless you have anything else you want to add? Also, I am going from a total shit tier power supply that cost me like 10$, so anything will be better than that 馃檪

Sorry if it sounded like I was angry or anything, wasn't my intention, I am happy for the discussion

Get at least a ATX3.0 specified Seasonic if you want to use it for over 10 years instead of an old Prime Titanium that has issues with recent GPUs.

So, something like the Vertex PX-750? I don't even think they sell those in Sweden yet...
