System not posting after CPU upgrade

I just upgraded from a 2700X to a 5700X and my fans will spin, but my monitor won't display. My peripherals also light up. I'm on a B450M DS3H board, I update my BIOS regularly, and I've cleared my CMOS twice.

Can you check if you bent any pins ?

I can check if I bent pins but it'll take a while, I know the GPU is set up correctly

have you checked if the cpu is compatible with the current bios that is installed in your motherboard

Just reseated the CPU, no bent pins. And yes, I know the CPU is compatible

ok, do you have another system to put the gpu or cpu in to see if it works?

I don't, but the GPU was working literally two hours ago, and the CPU was bought from eBay but there were pictures confirming the system posted with the chip in.

Is the seller a reliable one ? He could have just lied and sent a picture of a different system

The CPU reseat worked for some reason! I had to take the CPU cooler out anyway because it was slanted

Oh nice, you probably didn’t tighten the cooler enough or just didn’t put the bracket on right but who cares, it’s working!!

It's an AIO and one of the metal pieces for mounting was jutting out a bit further than the other one, so yeah it was probably a pressure issue. I appreciate the walkthrough!
