PC specs:

MB- Msi MEG B550

gpu- 3060

cpu - amd ryzen 7 3700x

ram - corsair vengeance ddr4 2x8gb (old) /  Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 3200 (new)  (both tested)

ssd- samsung 970 evo 1tb

psu - corsair rm650

So a friend of mine bought some parts few years ago (specs above) and someone build it for her. Since beginning, she would experience random crashes (no blue screen errors) she took it to a pc shop where they tested all the parts and couldn't find a faulty one  (the store did take the gpu, cpu and ram out to test them in other pcs and they said they worked fine <- her words) she also got another PSU and the issue persisted. We swapped the memory as the current one wasn't on the compatibility list for her MB  and the issue is still there. Any ideas what to look at next?

Only faulty part left is the mobo then. Or the SSD, but the SSD wouldn't cause crashes all the time so I would say try a different mobo if you can

Please check event viewer after a crash for clues. Yes the same event viewer those phone scammers use to tell you that you have a virus. Those errors, especially anything that's labelled as WHEA-Logger, is really important for troubleshooting a hardware failure
