What's the difference? Ek classic vs quantum torque fittings?

Hey guys,

Pretty new to the water cooling scene, I've had aio's for a long time but never a custom loop, but now I feel is the time to try it.

Apart from the visual aesthetics, is there much of a difference in terms of quality/leak proofing?

Is one better then the other? The quantum torque are more expensive, but price isn't always a good judgement of a better quality product.

Just after some honest feedback, before I purchase some fittings.

Cheers

Hi buddy,

The Quantum Torque fittings are just chunkier and a bit larger than that the classic fittings.

If you are planning on using 12mm hard tubing then I'd stick with the classic fittings but if you want to go for 14 or 16mm tubing then I'd recommend the torque fittings.

See pic for the difference in fittings (45 degree)

Thanks fella,

Thanks for the feedback, I am planning on using 16mm fittings so something to consider. The side by side picture also helps comparing them aesthetically.

Appreciate the help.

Cheers
