Infinite Bootscreen

Hi,

 

I was going to try and help my brother with something, but when I went to turn on his computer, it uh, never actually booted. Not sure what he did, but I can't get into the boot menu or anything. Anyone have any ideas?

is the keyboard connected with wire or wireless ?

the message on the display is giving you options so check the keyboard cables etc first if it is not responding when you press the indicated keys in the directions on the screen..

also if the keyboard is connected to the monitor unplug it and plug into the PC

Reset cmos would be first step

Tired directly to the motherboard.

Yeah, no dice. Used a screwdriver to connect the two and when that didn't work, took out the battery, nothing.

Please send PC specs
if it powers but doesn't post or get into BIOS, you might have a bad or incompatible CPU to BIOS setup
