you say nothing specifc, but you should give atleast examples of programs or workloads you would possibly run...do you use/work with photoshop? blender? CAD? CAM? making videos?

If gaming is involved then knowing your resolution would be a big help.

Thanks this looks good, but what would be the Intel equivalent of this.

would it also be more beneficial to go next gen cpu and ram or not.

I can't fit a 1440P in here without taking a hit on frame rates for more demanding games but this Gigabyte 1080P has received rave reviews since it was released.  btw that 120mm Arctic fan goes inside the back of that case for an exhaust fan.

Good catch ^^ ... RAM is always a plus 😄

This runs slightly over budget.

It would not be good for you to go next Gen in your budget range. Doing this would seriously downgrade the GPU. The build is perfect as is and making any changes to it would not be advised. I have the Intel build for you here below but I strongly recommend the AMD build for better compatibility and the overall CPU performance of the 5800X3D. Right now it's 2nd best CPU for gaming if you are not going next Gen (AM5) 7800X3D. If you get my AMD build them there will be no need for a PC upgrade for at least 5-7 years.

Remember you can DM me if you have any more concerns and I can give you my info.
