I've just upgraded my whole PC and as such did a fresh install of Windows 11. For some reason on startup my PC always forgets that my Focusrite is plugged in, and I have to re plug it back in for the PC to recognise it.

Is there a way to fix this?

There are a few things you can try to fix this issue. First, you can try reinstalling the Focusrite Control software and the USB driver. To do this, open Control Panel on your PC and select Programs > Programs and Features. Sort the list of programs alphabetically by Publisher and find Focusrite in the Publisher column. Select the listing for Focusrite Control and uninstall it. Then select the listing for the Focusrite USB (Audio) driver and uninstall it. When you are finished with that you can download the latest version. If that doesn't work you can tyr optimizing your PC for audio on windows 11.

Steps here:

To do this, open Control Panel and select “System”. Go to “Advanced system settings” and click the “Advanced” tab. Click on “Settings” under Performance to bring up the “Performance Options” window. Go to the “Advanced” tab and set processor scheduling as “Background Services”. Click "Apply" then "ok" and that should solve your issue.

Of course, if all else fails, you can always contact support.

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?

Take everything I say with a grain of salt. I could be just about wrong as I am right.
