Audio Problem

Go to solution Solved by Catzzye,

What audio interface do you use (Realtek?)? Do you have analogue (3.5mm) or digital (USB) headphones? Do you plug into front or the back?
Also, have you tried using different headphones? All that can help eliminate some issues.

Cheers

Ok so I just got a new GPU (6700 xt). Before I got it I could still play games and stuff since i had an igpu and I didnt have a single problem with the audio. After I installed the GPU I experienced stuttering with the audio in certain games and programs. I tried plugging the hdmi back to the original port that I had it plugged in before i got the gpu and the audio was fine again. I dont really know exactly what the problem is though. I tried reinstalling audio drivers and gpu drivers but still nothing. The only way I could fix the problem is by plugging the hdmi back to the original port.

Thank you very much for your help. So I found the solution by plugging other headphones into another usb port and it turned out that the specific usb port that i used was broken or something

Yea, that can happen, tho rarely in my experience. No worries as long as you got other USB ports!

Enjoy and glad to help!!
