RGB issues

I have an MSI motherboard with various rgb items connected, fans, ram, gpu, and pump. I can control everything but the gpu from mystic light, and have to run polychrome sync to control the gpu. i would prefer to run everything from iCUE except the gpu to cut down on software. I set up iCUE (including the MSI plugin) and literally nothing shows up in iCUE. it has all of the temp sensors, but no rgb detection. why won't iCUE detect anything?
