Oculus Quest 2 issue.

OK so my PC is a Ryzen 9 5900X with a RTX380.

It's hard wired to my router. The router sits next to my desk. It's literally 2ft away from me. Now when I use the Oculus Link via WiFi it keeps glitching out on me all the time when I'm playing a game from my PC. It is connected via 5G and everything checks out but it keeps glitching. When it's connected to my PC via USB it runs fine, so I know it's a WiFi issue.

I've tried using a repeater as an access point, ethernet from that to my PC, and selecting a 5G channel not used by anything else. So the only thing going through the repeater is the Oculus to my PC and still the same. I've tried using my PC as a hotspot still the same.

Would a WiFi 6 router be any better? Am I missing something? I've tried allsorts.

Like when your TV loses signal for a moment and glitches and lags.

It may be a lot of things and I suspect you may have some interferences in your wifi signal.

Go to your router settings and try switching the channel it is broadcasting on. Try more than one channel to make sure it solves the issue.

Already tried numerous channels. Even scanned the channels to see which ones were free. Thank you though.
