HyperX Cloud Alpha Mod

Is it possible for me to replace the earcups on a HyperX Alpha S (https://hyperx.com/products/hyperx-cloud-alpha-s?variant=41031691206813) with those of a HyperX cloud II (https://hyperx.com/products/hyperx-leatherette-ear-cushions-cloud?variant=42093754187933). I know its possible to do for a HyperX Cloud MIX because streamer Lough did it, but I don't know about the alphas.

(I would probably use something else, but I'm just wondering if this would work)
