Remote connection without disturbing internal screen

Hello.

I have just put together a new plex media server. The cabinet has an internal lcd panel showing Aida sensorpanel.

I want to remote in to this machine without disturbing the internal monitor and the fullscreen sensorpanel. How can this be done?

The internal lcd is the only monitor connected.

Its running win 11 pro.

The problem is, regular desktop Windows only allows for one user session at a time.

Try getting a monitor "dummy plug", which plugs into a video port and says it's a monitor, but actually isn't. Then you can run TeamViewer on the PC, set the dummy "monitor" as the primary, run the internal LCD as a secondary monitor, and leave Aida running full-screen on that. When you connect with TeamViewer the LCD might momentarily blink, but you should be able to use the virtual "main" desktop without disturbing your gauges.

There are ways to fake a monitor through software, but I haven't tried any of those.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

Windows is really a bad choice for a Plex server, its running so much garbage you do not need.  Not to mention Windows Update can really disrupt the operation of the server.

Is it really worth that just for an internal screen you probably will rarely look at?
