Complete BSOD Mayhem - Help! [SOLVED]

Go to solution Solved by Krizzzzz,

The problem is solved after reseating one of the DDR5 DIMM's.

Hi Everyone,

I have just finished building my first ever PC all by myself and actually went by Linus' Build guide. It worked very well yesterday and today I played some games and everything was running like a dream.

Then I went to Restart the PC for some windows update and it booted to a BSOD. It gets stuck in a reboot Cycle and always ends up in a BSOD, but its always different:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED

MEMOY_MANAGEMENt

among others, I couldnt catch all o them. I also tried the onboard Graphics to see if it was the GPU but no luck - same problem

Now I cant even do anything, not even BIOS. The computer WILL freeze after about 30 sec.

Its just enough time to get to the windows login screen and it freezes. I can do something in BIOS but it will inevitably freeze. And as such I cant reinstall windows.

I updated the BIOS before installing windows...

please help anewbie Builder not to get eternally traumatized by his fist Build- thanks, Kristian

Could you go into Event Viewer then proceed to go to Windows Logs > System
Sort the logs by date (most recent to oldest) and could you tell me if you see a lot of errors?

If so, could select them and export the events, it might help in troubleshooting your issue.
To export the events, select the errors you see, Action > Save selected events...
You will then be asked to give it a name.

In the meantime, make sure all your drivers are up-to-date. Do not use programs such as “driver easy”
Make sure you download the drivers from the OEM's website yourself.
