Do you have something else you can plug into that monitor?

Are you sure the monitor is getting power?  (Stupid question, I know but I had this problem and it was a power strip that died).

Yes its connected, the DVI cable the power cable is connected

Does it respond when you press the menu button for the monitor?

one of two things is going on - 1. There isn’t an input signal. 2. There is a signal but the monitor isn’t displaying it.

start by making sure the monitor itself isn’t dead. Then make sure the cable is good. Then make sure there is an output from the computer.
