Is this backlight bleeding?

Hi. Today i received ViewSonic XG2431 and I've noticed that it has weird white(bottom right corner) and orange glow. It's not really visible while playing or watching movies but the right bottom corner looks kin. It definitely look worse on the photos. I am considering returning it and buying AW2523HF.

Please let me know if this is backlight bleeding and if I should return it and look for a better piece. Peace

Yes, that is backlight bleeding.  You say yourself its not visable while gaming so I see no reason to return it unless it really bothers you in dark scenes.  Backlight bleed is hit and miss just like coil whine on computers components.

so it's only visible when you stare at an unmoving black screen

Does it look really bad to you? I don't have any comparison since I never had IPS panel before.

Thanks you two for your feedback. Anyway I have 2 weeks to test it out and figure if it really bothers me.

Unfortunate consequence of having an edge lit screen. Only way you'd find something better is something that is backlit.
