That's normal. Unless the box you get says "Ryzen 5000 Series Ready," then you'll have to flash the BIOS before you will be able to post with that cpu & motherboard combo. I would recommend the MSI B550 Tomahawk MAX Wifi motherboard instead tbh.

I see how you got lead into these parts, but for a first build, it's truly not that bad at all. Generally swinging in the right direction, but having a few misses.

Here is how you will be A LOT happier with the system:

Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive  ($59.99 @ B&H)

Why the corrections:

The CPU - Ryzen 5000 series is MUCH better than 3000. The 5600 and 5600X are basically identical in performance and the 5700X is only 10% faster on average than them, so for anything under 5800X, the 5600 is a great choice. It also comes with descent stock cooler, which works more than well, so no need for an expensive AIO.

The Memory - idk why would you need 32GBs of it, but there it is with the sweet spot for Ryzen 5000 CPU - 3600MHz. I'd personally save money and go with 2x8GBs.

The motherboard - it is basically a tier higher than the Asus, but currently everything is better than an Asus board. Asus have MUCH deeper and bigger problems as company than just exploding boards and badly put together GPUs. They are on a serious downward rollercoaster atm.

The NV2 series of SSDs from Kingston is terrible., Slow and with poor reliability. The OG 970 Evo Plus is more than enough for that system. If you are keen on the SSD being PCIe Gen4, the Samsung 980 Pro is just $7 on top of that.

The GPU - the most important part. it's basically a tier up than the 6650XT and the best choice for under $450, let alone under $380.

The PSU - 850W is more than enough the handle the system and 1000W is an extreme overkill here.

So yeah, this will make you A LOT happier.
