Hey guys!

I'm trying to set up a Minecraft server to play on with a few of my friends but I cannot for the life of me seem to get it to work. I've watched countless tutorials and I just keep having issues. It looks so simple so I'm not sure how it's even possible that I'm having this many problems with it.

The most aggravating issue that I've been trying to solve has to do with Port Forwarding. From what I've read, you open up the command prompt, type in "ipconfig" and then type in the default gateway address that it gives you into your browser. I've done this but it takes me to a Dynex router page even though my family owns a Belkin router. Am I just completely missing something or what?

Hopefully I'm just ill advised on this matter and the problem is easily solvable.

Thanks for your time!
