So I switched internet provider recently and when the new router was installed, some of the ports on my switch stopped working. For example, the port my PC is plugged into will show "Unidentified Network" but if I change it over to the port next to it, it works fine. This is the case for a few of the ports on the switch and would like to have them all working. I've already tried factory resetting the switch and router but can't get it to work. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you plugged a PC directly into the ISP's router rule in/out the switch?

What are the makes/models of the network hardware that you have? Start with what the ISP supplied you with down to the switch before the PC.

Unless you have a managed switch, you shouldn't have to do this for unmanaged switches.

What type of ethernet cable do you use? Have you tried using new/different ethernet cables? What is the integrity of the cables themselves? Any sharp bends or frayed insulation? Do they all negotiate at 1Gbps?
