Problem:

when I try to activate XMP in the bios, my PC won't Boot.

on the motherboard, the orange LED lights up for about 10 seconds then changes to red for a second and back to orange.

I already tried troubleshooting but nothing worked so far.

my troubleshooting:

1. check that ram is inserted properly

2. enable XMP but manually adjust frequency to different settings (none worked)

3. reset cmos

4. flash bios

5. very slyghtly adjust dram voltage

(I reset everything to stock settings)

Specs:

Ram: 2x 16Gb - Corsair Vengance RGB 6000MHZ (DDR5) CMH32GX5M2D6000C36

MB: Asus Rog Strix Z690-F Wifi gaming

CPU: i7-13700K

Did you check the RAM QVL list for your board to see what are the/if there are certified speeds for your ram kit?

If someone has helped you out on the forum don't forget to give them a reaction to say thank you!

If it's not on the list it's not certified for your board and you are just hoping to be lucky and find a setting that works
