Only one thing. Swap that ram out for this ram G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5600 CL28 Memory (F5-5600J2834F16GX2-TZ5NR) - PCPartPicker

Budget (including currency): 3500aud/2300usd

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 4K and 1440p, at 144hz or higher refresh rate gaming with Ray tracing, but are tracing isn’t the highest priority, also used for school. In Australia some of the parts are cheaper than USA, so please go to au.pcpartpicker not the normal pc part picker

Other details: Must have Black and White colour scheme with rgb, or black and red or green and blue.Must have good and quiet airflow, but also rgb. AIO cooler with lcd screen would be a good touch but not necessary.

I only went for the 7800X3D as A. Its the best gaming cpu on the market (better than a 13900k but it can actually be cooled) and B. It consumes much less wattage than an I7 but yes a ryzen 7 7700 would do fine with a 7900 xtx, might be a slight bottleneck tho at 1440p so that's why i went with a 7800X3D

That system I made above should get at least 200 frames in minecraft with BSL shaders, in cyberpunk ultra no rt it should get 150 fps about, in cod warzone 2 it'll get about 200 at max settings, in fortnite epic with lumen it should get around 60 or 70 and without it'll get over 200 or 150 and in fh5 at extreme it should get like 150 or 120 at 4k

This is all at 1440p btw

The 7900x is defo not a better gaming cpu than the 7800X3D and those fans aren't actually too good. I would also just get a 2tb p5 plus or 970 evo plus as kingston aren't amazing with reliability. And that cooler... it's actually pretty dogsh*t for the money. The thermalright peerless assassin 120/SE is much better value

...I say pick one thats most ideal, is that too much to ask? We can go with either of the 3 schemes in this price range.

Ok then but I have the same ssd, and it has Gen 4 speeds, and is cheaper than most Gen 4 ssd and it hasn’t given up on me. And I’ll use the 7800x3d and should I use the noctua cpu cooler, as I trust noctua more than thermalright, and I have a noctua cooler on my current pc.

In order to OC that i7 you would want a Z790 board with decent VRM's along with a 360 AIO and a case that fits that AIO.  What do you get for all that added cost?  About five more FPS if you're lucky.

Emphasis on lucky. Raptor Lake overclockability on standard off the shelves cooling is about as good as X3D series AMD in that there's almost none.

You can squeeze more out of those chips but the gains don't outweigh the cost imo hence the reason I rarely post an unlocked cpu.

Am5 can't run stable with ram speeds higher than 6400mhz and it really benefits from lower latency so that's why i picked a slightly lower ram speed much lower latency kit
