I currently have a desktop PC that has everything on it. Roughly 3TB of pictures and video from both my wife and my lives (we value this a lot), about 21TB of media that I converted over from our colossal library of CDs and DVDs a few years ago, and a lot of documents and projects that are quite a bit smaller.

Before, I used to just back up everything to OneDrive as well as two external hard drives. Now, that amount vastly outstrips the amount of storage I have in OneDrive. I was thinking about building a NAS so I could set up either RAID 1 or RAID 5 to protect all of that data. Either that, or getting BackBlaze for 7/month, though I despise subscriptions. I still back up my most important stuff to external hard drives, but now I have far more to manage. What are some good options here?
