Hi, I am in the middle of my first build and even though watched tons of videos and prepped..Im a bit confused.

Does it matter what direction I place my Aircooler?  My motherboard is an Asus Z790-P Wi-Fi.

I placed back plate and the stand offs and the metal brackets but haven’t screwed them in. Thank you for any help.

Given how you've placed your bracket it's irrelevant, aircooler looks symetrical (seems to have same small notches on each side for RAM/board heatsink clearance )

Left side of that pic has no notch.

@Godzillacheese the way you are holding the cooler in the pic is correct orientation. Make sure the fan blows toward the case exhaust fan in the back of the case.
