Hi. I am looking for a new mechanical keyboard, but I don’t know much about them, and every one I’ve got has had some issues for me.

I am looking for a good compact TKL keyboard, perhaps a acrylic frame, (I don’t like the plastic ones, but I don’t want my keyboard too heavy). And I’m not sure what switches to get, pref something not too loud, but I like the tactile feel.

I’m not looking to build it, and am looking to spend less than $200CAD if possible (the keyboard will have to be purchasable in Canada)

any suggestions would be appreciated. If you have any questions/need more info, lmk.

Thanks

i would get the keychron v3 with a knob as the base, and then you can get different switches and try them out to see how you like them. https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-v3-qmk-custom-mechanical-keyboard?variant=40256628752473 i would try the akko lavendar tactiles because they are snappy but rather quiet. the v3 is hot swap so you can just pull out the switches and swap them for wha you like.

check out Akko model 5087 or the aformentioned V and Q lineup of Keychron.
