Finished my new build (parts list below), and everything worked smoothly. Then, I was hoping to enable the EXPO profile for my memory, and after doing so the PC wouldn't POST. I read that some AM5 motherboards are finnicky with EXPO support, so I cleared CMOS and was able to boot into Windows 11 with no issue. Then, my secondary fan on my CPU cooler was a bit loud, so I went to the BIOS to switch it to silent mode - again PC wouldn't POST. After some testing literally just clicking "save and exit" in BIOS, even if no changes are made, causes the PC to not POST until CMOS is cleared. Once CMOS is cleared, I am able to shut down and restart with no problems and successfully boot into Windows. The motherboard only has debug LEDs, and after save and exit one time they were stuck with VGA+Boot lit up for 5-10 minutes, then the PC restarted, and it ultimately got stuck with just the VGA light lit and a white underscore at the top left of the screen. Another time it was stuck with CPU + BOOT lit, so not sure if where it gets stuck is actually meaningful. If anyone has any clue what might cause this behavior I'd appreciate suggestions.

Thanks!

Update your bios and see if that solves the issue.

I had a gigabyte board that had a lot of idiosyncrasies that I was never able to fix (fan settings didn’t work sometimes, wouldn’t start cpu fan sometimes from a cold boot, etc). It was just a crappy board. Maybe you won the reverse board lottery with yours too.

Am already on the latest BIOS unfortunately. Guessing you're right, will probably just return it.
