I have about 800usd to make some upgrades. I really want more m.2 as I want more space but Im really interested in knowing if this was your set up what thing would you upgrade on it.

2tb nvmes are like 80$ for the dram ones like the silicon power a80

 

Anything your current pc stuggles with? Cause if it struggles with cpu intensive stuff you can buy a 5500/5600 (prefer former if price diff >20$) or a 5700x and clock to 4.7-4.8 allcore.

 

If your games can utilize extra cpu cache (ex factorio) then you can get a 5800x3d, lock the multi to 45.5 and bclk to 104 for 4.73 allcore

 

If its gpu that your pc struggles with then even with a 300$ ish 5800x3d and an 80$ 2tb theres still 420$ (nice) left so you can go and grab a used rx 6800 off ebay for 350-400$

You can get a cheap M2  2TB drive then I would upgrade the GPU for gaming, maybe a $500 6800xt

slap in an MP600 2TB as the new boot drive and then use the rest for cold storage drive. +1, especially if youre not on Photoshop and editing big files that would need CUDA backing to run smoothly.
