Building a $500 Intel Gaming PC

There is a fatal flaw in this build list, that motherboard requires a BIOS update to use that CPU, so somebody needs to amend this to a $575/615 build list since you have to buy at least a Celeron G6900 to get the system up and running before the build.

Well I've bit the bullet... my 3rd gen system needs updating.

So far spent around £500 taking many deals to reduce the cost but hopefully after this weekend will have my shiney 12th gen system up and running.

Due to the age of the parts I'm limited what I can salvage (mainly hard drives for plex)

But I'm going from

I7-3770, 16gb ddr3, amd r9 270 with around 27tb storage

To

I3-12100f, 32gb ddr5 same graphics card atm

But I've used the msi b760 tomahawk as a base which will allow future expansion to 13th gen.

Hopefully nothing arrives dead and then it's the long process of moving hard drives to new system and resetting up everything.

Wish me luck
