My system was a msi b450 tomahawk with ryzen 3600 processor and 32gb ram, nvme SSD and nvidia 2060 super.

The motherboard got damaged and switched to an Asus prime a320, that i had from a previous build.

After this switch whenever I turn on the system, there is no display out, not even the bios. But when I keep pressing the power button and turn it on again it starts. Even if the computer is on and i shutdown, althoughtl the system is on and warm sometimes it does not start, i need to shut it down and turn it on again. No idea what is at fault

is it possible the a320 does not have a bios that is ready for the 3600?

I a320 i got with 3600 3 years ago and b450 with 2600 4 years ago. it was working i switched the processor so that 3600 goes with b450. last month b450 broke, so i switched again a320 was left unused for 2 years. The bios are updated to a supported version. I was using 64gb ram, removed 2 sticks due to issues with a320. Need a lot of ram for my job. Upgrading motherboard feels like waste of money (and i have no idea if it is the problem)

with new platforms out there, but no new platform support proper 4 rams with good speed due to crappy memory controller.
