Budget (including currency): 2500-3000E

Country: Spain

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Only for gaming maybe in a few years some programming

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Hi friends, im excited to buy my first desktop pc, so im here for some recomendations about my build. The idea its to make sure the money that im going to spend is worth it, and make sense in a balance build.
Finally the only doubts that i have about the build are, wich motherboard should i get?. Im between ASUS or MSI, ill make some overclock but nothing crazy. And ofc if i should buy the graphic card Amd RX 7900 XTX or the  Nvidia 4080. For what i have been searching and reading on internet, amd make more sense if ill only play video games, but nvidia its better at ray tracing. Thank you 😆

You want low profile RAM heatsinks so it doesn't impede that dual tower cpu cooler. By the way, AM5 hits a ceiling at DDR5 6000. Power supply is way overkill and 2TB SSD seeing how game downloads just keep getting bigger.  Look at these changes.

1000W PSU should be plenty, and I probably wouldn't recommend either gpu unless you plan on playing at 4k high/ultra settings with 144+ fps. I would recommend 1440p resolution, unless you already have a 4k monitor or something. Added 1TB 980 Pro as the primary drive, and 2TB 970 Evo Plus as the secondary/game drive.

You might as well get a 2tb 980? Why 2 different drives. If one is a os drive it only needs to be 512gb.

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).

I love Photography (Using a Canon 60D)

Love F1, my favourite team is Ferrari and my favourite driver is Leclerc
