Thanks to your answer, I found out the issues:

For the battery bank, I need to press the main button (I didn't need on my other laptop). <-- Solution by leclod

For my 100w wall charger, this laptop isn't compatible with this 112w charger: Link to the charger page (Best Buy Canada)

For the phone charger, too low watts. Need >60W. According to this page : https://www.gigabyte.com/ca/Support/FAQ/4300

Your 100w wall charger supports PPS but nothing is written about PD, so probably no PD support, which is surprising.

For the phone charger, the issue is more about Vs than Ws, your phone charger probably only delivers 5V while the notebook wants at least 9V or 12V (not sure which).

I did manage to charge a notebook with my 30W PD wall charger (up to 20V) and via my 18W PD PB (up to 12V)

(I did forget about the cable compatibility issue)

<SOLVED>

Hi,

ISSUE:

I have a issue when I try to charger my new Aero 16 2022 via the 100w usb-c thunderbolt-4 port.

MY ATTEMPTS TO CHARGE:

First, I tried with my 87W PD power bank on the 100w thunderbolt 4 port and nothing happened.

After, I tried with a 100W PD wall charger and 20W phone charger and I also tied other usb-c port on my laptop, but still nothing.

Windows doesn't show any signs of charging nor the charger led near the DC jack.

At last, I tried to charge when turn off but still nothing.

I tried all chargers on another 100W PD laptop, tablet and phone and they all worked.

MY ATTEMPS TO FIX:

I contacted gigabyte support using "eSupport" 3 days ago (11/5/2023), but I'm still waiting any answer.

I tried to "google it" but it was unsuccesfull.

I wrote this Topic.

MODIFICATION:

I opened my laptop only once to install a nvme SSD.

WARRANTY:

I have many options:

1- I have 20 days left to refund via Neweggs.ca (but I really need the laptop now for work)

2-I have "https://www.newegg.ca/promotions/warranty/21-1290/index.html" Accident warranty for 3 years.

3-Standart Gigabyte warranty (but I broke 2 stickers on screws for the nvme installation)

SPECS:

I'm sure that text is full of errors (like unnecessary "the"), English isn't my primary language. I mainly speak/write French.

Thanks in advance.

From the Gigabyte page I understand only one Thunderbolt port is meant for charging (the rear one).

When you say nothing happened, did you check the battery level from the taskbar, sometimes the charging isn't obvious.

Did you push the button on your PB ? on mine I need to push the button to start charging

Thank you, one more question:

Is this cable compatible with 100w charging / data transfer charging (thuderbolt 4)? :https://a.co/d/cZ38GJE

Yes, that cable looks very nice.

(by the way, I like the cheaper Ugreen and Baseus cables from Aliexpress)
