Quick Question about G-Sync

I enabled G-sync on my PC from within the Nvidia Control Panel... this being my first build I am unsure if doing that overrides automatically the V-sync setting on any given game. Thanks in advance all!

Well g sync (AFAIK) is like v sync but without the latency hit (i.e. it reduces or nearly stops tearing by using something like v sync, but allowing your fps to be as high as you want) once again thats as far as i know

I've been disabling v-sync in the 3D settings for Nvidia Control Panel since 2014 when I started using the VG248QE with the Nvidia DIY G-sync mod kit. I'd recommend the same if you want the smoothest experience.

I've never touched the V-sync setting since getting G-sync. Think it is default ON. To my understanding V-sync on doesn't affect G-sync within the G-sync working range. It may affect behaviour if you exceed your monitor's refresh rate.

In early G-Sync days V-Sync was forced on. Due to complaints Nvidia eventually let you choose if you wanted it on or off. G-Sync only works in the range of your monitor's G-Sync range so if your FPS is higher than this you lose the benefit. Nvidia has since made Fast Sync which has significantly less input lag than V-Sync.
