Hello, I need some advice.

I have a Cooler Master Hyper 412 Slim that I used on my AM3+ platform and would like to use it for my AM4 ( Ryzen 5 5600)聽

Now the problem is that in my country I can not get the AM4 upgrade mounting kit. Is it possible to somehow modify the bracket to fit AM4?

My thought was to just grind down the nobs on the bracket to let it turn freely (pic of the bracket in post)聽

If you have other ideas that wold be great聽

Thanks in advance 馃槃

get a third part one for like 10 bucks and save yourself the hassle. Where are you located?

I hit 700W on an i5 with a NHD15

Also I'm 14 so please just confirm anything I say with someone more experienced

And that's the problem, you can't get third party anything, and most stuff is聽poor quality from china (aliexpress mostly)

I can only find noctua brackets from private selers and thats it

Well yeah that is the logical thing to do, but the shipping is more expensive than a new cooler, that's why I was looking for a DIY solution.

I just have to say thanks for your response and help it is appreciated
