Homeplug problems

We have recently upgraded to 40MBps internet in my home, but it doesn't seem like I can actually get those speeds whenever in my own computer.
I've tried shutting down all other computers and closing down everything that could slow down the internet speed and I got to around 8MBps in speedtest.net.

We're currently using Shiro's HL105E 85Mbps and I assume that these are the problem, and I'm looking for new ones that could possibly be good enough for a year or two from now (that means they could still be useful for future upgrades).

Can you suggest any reliable homeplugs which we can get?
