E5645 only does 208bclk before needing to use qpi slowmode to post at higher bclk

 

But i just got an x5650 and its still capped at 208bclk and needs slowmode to go higher

 

 

Is this board a POS? Or maybe it has something to do with my 6x4 dual rank config?

 

ill have to do some more testing since i have a 930 and 950 lying around see if those are affected, and also flash the thing to a p6t deluxe and p6x58d premium see if that fixes it

 

 

As for settings qpi/vtt = 1.5-1.6v (its safe shut up), vcore = 1.4v, ioh = 1.3v, ich volts maxed out, vdimm at 2v for 2000mhz otherwise 1.6-1.8v for 1200-1300 and 1600 (again safe volts upto 2.46v), diff amp at 1000mv, llc and spread spectrum disabled, ioh delay 100ns, cpu delay normal, everything else at auto
